The 2020 Tour de Yorkshire will be bigger and better than ever before with the women's race over 2 days and then mens covering 4 days. It will attract many big name riders as part of their preparation for the Tour de France. Our 'Dirty Wknd in the north' will allow you to ride some of the route that the pros will be racing on as well as watch the action right up close. The weekend is based in Ilkley, often referred to as the capital of cycling in Yorkshire!
All Things Ride are the experts in cycling in Yorkshire, so we're incredibly pleased to be partnering with them on this trip. They will organise our accommodation in Harrogate, professionally led group rides and eating and drinking options. 2019's TDY trip was a huge success, with a group of mixed ability riders heading up north for the weekend. You can read some reviews below.*
The weekend will comprise a mix of watching the Tour de Yorkshire and cycling some of the route as well as other great roads. On the rides there will be 2 ride groups heading in the same direction, with one group for intermediate/advanced riders and a second group covering less distance at a slower pace! Riders will get to witness as much as the professional race as possible (depending on the route). You'll also get to see the riders at close quarters. If you’ve never witnessed this before, it’s a great experience and carries a real buzz!
Our partners All Things Ride will be taking care of all of the logistics and organisation of the weekend, and as such will take care of payment details. By signing up to the trip above you are agreeing that we may share your email address with them. They will then get in touch with you to offer more details.
