Saturday Social Laps In Regent's Park - Turn Up And Ride!
Saturday is ride day! Waking up late (everyone loves a lie in) and joining a leisurely laps session in the park followed by coffee/brunch at the best cafe in London is the best way to set up the weekend! Join our non-led laps of Regent's Park to spin the legs out, meet cyclists in London and enjoy some post ride coffee and chat.
When arriving at Mile 27 the guys at the cafe will help to organise groups and ensure that you meet the others riders. You can then split into similar ability groups (if numbers allow) and head into the park for 1 to 2 hours of laps, before returning to the cafe for optional brunch.
These lap sessions are the perfect place for all levels of cycist to learn how to cycle in London and in a group. Using the safety of our group (strength in numbers) and the bike friendly nature of Regent's Park, this cycling session is perfect for anyone wanting to build their confidence and learn how to ride in a group. The laps are 'non led' meaning that no one from Dirty Wknd will be there to organise you. Mile 27 will help, but it's up to you to organise yourselves.
For more experienced riders it's a great chance to meet other people, chat all things cycling and spin the legs out after a long rind on Saturday. If numbers allow we will split into 2 or 3 speed groups so those who want to ride hard/fast laps can do, and others can ride at their own pace. Groups will then meet back at the cafe for coffee and hanging out.
